WHAT WE BELIEVE ...
- All individuals must be saved according to Romans 10:9,10.
- All individuals should be water baptized in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. (Matt. 28:19).
- The Holy Spirit is a promise to all who have been saved. (John 16:7-10,13,14)
- The Gifts of the Holy Spirit are for the present day believer. (1 Cor. 12:4-11).
- Eternal life is received through Jesus Christ. (John 3:16)
- Heaven is the eternal residence for those who have accepted Jesus Christ. (John 14:2,3)
- Hell is the eternal residence for those who have rejected Jesus Christ. (Rev. 21:8)
- The Church has been gifted with apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, evangelists and the ministry of helps. (Eph. 4:12 Romans 12:6-8).
- Teaching and preaching a positive message builds us up and helps us walk in our inheritance in Jesus Christ. (Acts 20:20).
- Healing and blessings have been provided for us through Jesus Christ. (Isa. 53:4,5)
We believe it is the will of God to heal all people, every time, regardless of their maturity, their perfection, or the lack of it. If God could love the world enough to save them, then He also loves them enough to heal them.
We also believe God did not intend for believers to live in poverty and lack. He desires to bless people financially so they can be generous in giving to the poor, and helping to purchase the tools necessary to fulfill the Great Commission of going into all the world to preach the Gospel to every creature.
At Celebrate Jesus we believe we must be led by the Holy Spirit in obedience to His Word to receive the promise of Romans 8:28; “...all things working together for our good…” .
In your selection of a church, remember that God loves you and desires that the fullness of Jesus be manifested in you. We serve God; not out of fear, but out of reverence, love, and a desire to change, grow, and become more like Him every day. At Celebrate Jesus we believe that Jesus Christ is the perfect example of what we should challenge ourselves to become.
We also believe that Jesus revealed clearly and perfectly God's plan and purpose for mankind. That through His shed blood He has gained victory over the works of the devil, and brought the believer into a walk of dominion, seated with Him on His throne. |
