Happy New Year!
Welcome to 2007 “The Year of Profuse Miracles”

That was the prophetic word given to us at Celebrate Jesus as we rang in the New Year.

What does “profuse miracles” mean?
Let’s look at some synonyms:
Profuse: syn. excessive, superabundant, plentiful, generous, bountiful, copious, full handed, prodigal(extravagant, uncontrolled),prolific, overflowing.

Miraculous: syn. Wonderful, extraordinary, phenomenal, marvelous, freakish, mind-blowing, inexplicable, astonishing, supernatural, inexpressible, unimaginable.

          If we use some of those synonyms we could say, “Welcome to 2007 - The year of excessive, superabundant occurrences” or, “2007: A year overflowing with unimaginable results”. Unimaginable Results!  That’s what I believe best explains what the Lord is declaring to us.
          Are you aware that there are different kinds of miracles? One type of miracle is the kind that defies natural law, such as the Red Sea parting for Moses and Lazarus rising from the tomb after being dead for four days. How about supernaturally replacing missing or removed body parts without surgery, or completely eradicating every trace of cancer throughout the body in just one day? Those acts can easily be classed as miracles because they aren’t medically or scientifically possible.
          Of course, we can still see these astounding kinds of miracles today because God is still the same, yesterday, today, and forever, but there is another type God wants us to expect and experience. This type of miracle is just as impossible for natural man: the kind that will break the “cookie cutter” patterns of life’s experiences. If you look at patterns in people’s lives, things always seem to end up the same. Most of the time, certain events or conditions usually end up the same. We’ve all heard the saying, “History repeats itself.” No matter who you throw into the mold the outcome, the finished product, is the same. And as far as our natural understanding goes it is rare, if not altogether impossible, for the result of our lives to come out different from the pattern.

GOD SEES THINGS DIFFERENTLY

Isaiah 43:19  Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.  AMP

In this scripture God is telling us that He wants to work outside the pattern. That He is going to work outside the pattern. He is telling us that he is going to do away with the pattern completely! All we need to do is follow our Guide the Holy Spirit and He will help us bring the miracles into existence. These miracles are based on the laws of His kingdom, not the world’s natural laws, and as we work these miracles in our lives we are actually bringing His kingdom into the earth as it is in Heaven!
          The first step is to see our situation the way God sees it. The world may call it a lost cause, but nothing is impossible for God. He can do anything! He is all powerful! It is we who create the bottle-neck that prevents change because we are stuck in our thinking. What we think is what we believe and what we believe is what we receive. We must stop thinking like the world and start thinking like the Word!

Mark 9:23  Jesus said to him, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes."  NKJV

          The Bible tells us that the world’s ways are not our Father’s ways. If you really do believe that, take another look at your situation; the one you keep dealing with saying to yourself, “This just doesn’t seem right. I don’t want it to be this way; it shouldn’t be this way, but I can’t change it.” Your education or what you have been told over and over says, “Everyone else in this situation, got the same results; why should you be any different? This is just the way it works in this world.” Great News! We don’t have to accept that!
Next go to the Word of God and find out what it says about your problem. When you find God’s Truth on the matter, set your mind on that. Dare to believe what God says. Dare to speak what He says. You may find that the Word doesn’t agree with the world’s ways of doing and saying, but that’s ok. We are instructed to seek after the Lord and His kingdom, and not to conform to the world. It may feel strange at first, but isn’t it better to position yourself to receive your miracle?
          Whatever the situation may be, whether it’s your job, your relationship, your family, your health, or your finances, think outside of man’s patterns and dare to receive your miracle. As sons and daughters of God – don’t be afraid to believe it! THIS IS OUR YEAR!
